Egg Nog Latte

  • 8 oz of steamed egg nog
  • 2 oz of espresso, or other  strongly brewed coffee
  • 1/2 to 1 ounce dark or light rum, not a white rum (optional)
  1. Steam the egg nog until frothy and temperature that you like. I find that 150º is warm enough for me and my family.
  2. Pull your espresso shots.
  3. Pour the steamed egg nog into your coffee mug, holding back the frothy foam with a spoon.
  4. Add the coffee and rum (if using).
  5. Cap the latte with a couple dollops of the egg nog foam.
